Micro-organisms are little organisms that aren't visible through naked eye. These organisms embrace algae, bacteria, moulds, protozoa, yeasts and viruses. Generally they're even mentioned as microbes and are studied beneath microscope, being terribly microscopic in look .the science which deals with study of microbes is called as microbiology Microorganisms are indispensable elements of our ecosystem. They profit us in numerous types. The importance of microbiology and microbes is beyond rationalization. Our existence, health, food, agriculture and even industrial development are significantly addicted to them it could be production of food and drinks, leavening of bread, souring of milk and creating of wine and beer etc.

It’s a comprehensive study and is considered a research oriented field. The task of the microbiologist is to bring their role and importance to the human society

Eligibility criteria 

Bachelor of Science after completing 10+2 from recognized board with botany, zoology or biology as one of the main subjects 

Post graduate course , one must have completed a bachelor’s degree (general or honors) from a recognized university

Ph. D level courses are also available
